The reality is none of our players would get in their first team, maybe 1 or 2 in their subs bench.
The value of their subs was more than our first team combined.
Games against the top 6 teams aren't going to define our season, as we are not financially in the same league. So its not particularly fair to dig players out, as they know they up against far better quality players.
We may get the odd win or draw, that's a bonus.

..precisely.

One of our problems when playing at home is that we are so slow and ponderous when going forward. The number of times we play the square ball and then pass back and then start again. The opposition defence has all the time in the world to sit back, position themselves and wait for what we eventually throw at them.

After a reasonable first half, we were awful in the 2nd half and never stretched the Chelsea defence.

..yes, we do have a problem scoring.

We will get nothing from Watford. They are going far better than us.... To be honest so is nearly ever other team in the Premiership.

..Watford are on a run worse then us.

Erm no they're not . They have 6 points out of last 7 games (nov/dec) we have 4.....depends how many games you call 'a run'. They are still 6 points ahead of us.

If you take 6pts every 7 games you mah go down. If you take 4pts every 10 games you WILL go down

Craig Pawson just sent off Vardy for a 2 footed tackle, excatly the same type of tackle that Rojo did on Zaha and the same ref.

Just seen the highlights of that two footed challenge rojo's was a hell of a lot worse , I think he must of got some heat for letting that slide so he's made up for his lacklustre performance on Wednesday night by giving hardy a straight red

He should have been suspended after his dreadful performance Wednesday night. Like I said, there is one standard for the big 6 and another for the rest of us!

I thought he got the Vardy one right. The Rojo one should have been a sending off and an extra match ban. That was a dreadful two footed challenge.

Interesting that the commentator today commented on it and mentioned that clubs outside the top six don't get those calls.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I thought that was the best we have played in months.
Chelsea are a class above but we did really well on the whole.
We deserved a draw in my opinion but this was a loss I could stomach because it bodes well for the future if we can bring that intensity to lesser games.

..in seven games scored 6 conceded 16

I was responding to kennybrowns leftfoot who said they are going far better than us, but I wouldn't say they are, their performances recently are not good, performances and results are two completely different types of fish.
