Anyone watch the interview this morning?

Laughable. Greens are as badly run as UKIP. She couldn't answer anything and just asked the viewers to google their policies. She couldnt explain when quizzed how they were going to fund their radical plans for the economy along with a string of other key ideas. She couldn't defend their stance on reducing border controls and legalising terrorist membership.

Genuinely frightening all things considering, 4 months to go and not a clue.

I think that yesterdays performance pretty much summed up why The Greens, in their present state at any rate are about as credible and barmy as UKIP - she was awful

Definately- I mean the geezer they had on before who had a chicken coup and a vegetable patch and so forth great good for you chap- please tell me how that is going to work in any city centre!?

She was out of her depth and I thought the guy interviewing her let her off a bit easily when she was clearly squirming.

At least Farage has the charisma to deal with such intergation.

Hardly endearing charisma mind.

Must admit I find that the Greens are a bit limp wristed new age middle class. They need a bit more dystopian rather than the utopian about them. No one likes the ideology of a nice, friendly place. If they did, no one would vote conservative.

We want to be ruled by b******s, who'll make us suffer and tell us its all going to be worse if we don't vote for them and say thank you.

Interestingly I see DC is going for the traditional Tax Cuts, selling them as a reward for austerity - Which seems a bit like saying, thanks for the tenner for the services we've essentially reduced to 2.50 of services, here is a pound. Don't worry, we'll reduce the value of the services by 1.20 to cover it.

Haha I know but that competition makes him look good. She was truly woeful I knew more about her policies from reading the telepraph article posted a few pages back.

My only incentive to vote Conservative is the fact they pledge to increase the 40p tax rate to £50,000 and lift the PA to £12,500. This is from a totally selfish point of view I must add.

Whether they can be trusted to implement it that way is another matter all together.

According to 470,522 surveys done on the website voteforpolicies, the Greens have to most popular policies out of them, Labour, LibDems, Tories, UKIP or the BNP: [Link]

Some surprising results and you can take the test yourself and see who you should vote for on the site.

I read the abridged version of their manifesto today, whilst there are some excellent and perfectly sane policies in there, some of them are absolute cuckoo TBH

I tried it. I like what they are trying to achieve, but they are comparing apples and oranges (the alternatives are not related, for example, the question of raising the threshold you pay tax came up in three different sections at three different amounts, so if I strongly favour that, I'm likely to be voting for the party raising it to 11K, then the party raising it to 15.5, then the party raising it to 15).

I actually think of myself as pretty middle-of the road (and I only did NHS, Welfare, Economy, and Eductaion) but I came out 75% Tory and 25% UKIP, which was a surprise!

Maybe not so middle-of-the-road as you thought

It's brand new research, so one would imagine things will be adjusted. The green manifesto is out in March, whether the idea remains...

So it is actually viable, it just needs to be tailored more to current economic factors.

Green policy is largely a form of 'austerity' that is aimed towards heading off ecological and environmental consequences of the Industrial and Post-Industrial eras.
