My only embarrassment is in thinking a tory could be sensible. Sad to see we will not be making the electric mini here our car industry being destroyed by brexit. Nissan, possible Tata deal for Land Rover, they are the only bright spots in a depressing landscape. The idea that Sunak and Starmer have, that they can have a revised special deal for the UK, is rather like when your pet dog dies you reassure your kids they can still talk to it in heaven. There never was a post-brexit plan and we don't have an industrial strategy at all. Its just about keeping a few very rich, a totally discredited policy. Tax cuts yet again, they can only be funded through borrowing, Time for a donut.

I would have thought left wing nutjobs would be pleased if the entire car industry is removed from the face of the earth so that we can all ride bikes or jog.

Links to bankrupt 'up for sale' Tory rags, why? Because nobody believes their brexit lies anymore. No surprise to see Johnson and the Daily Mail in bed together, united in lies and brexit delusion. Brexiteers have become an embarrassment, a national joke.

Carney blames brexit for inflation. 13th interest rate hike in a row. 86% of labour supporters do not support brexit. Starmer has enough room now to be more honest with the public. His caution is understandable, but outside Europe, especially the single market and customs union, there has been no credible alternative and the economy cannot be successful, nor can it be restored to the point where we left the EU.

Brexit has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with inflation. What part of the air did you pluck the 86% figure from? Good luck with expecting politicians being honest with us. You suggest that no countries can be economically successful unless they are in the EU - it's total nonsense.
