Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

You literally live on another planet, Hrolf. We did our load on Benteke, Luka, PVA, Sakho & Schlupp a few years back whilst upping Wilf's wages. We have only sold Bolasie since promotion, we need to balance the books - AWB was that sacrifice I think and it depends what is left of the £50M to spend. Clueless.... I challenge nonsense most definitely. Maybe you think we should sell our whole squad? I mean it will be great for our bank balance and we can buy non league players to replace them...Sorted. You do remember that we have been fighting a yearly relegation battle even with our best ever player? I'm happy to alienate foolishness.

Look, you are entitled to your opinion on things like everyone else, this is a forum after all and I am not having a go. But try and get some perspective in regards to the financial side of things and remember who we are and where we were 9 years ago at Sheff Weds. I get that you don't care about finances and you support your team etc, but it is such bad judgement to come on here and dismiss the clear and obvious financial points people are making. Near enough every club outside of the top 7-8 in the Premier League will need to sell every year or so when they spend big, we've luckily obeyed your demands for 7 seasons and not really sold anyone. That's why FFP is such a big deal and we all wonder what plucky Bournemouth are up to ?!

You do remember that we have been fighting a yearly relegation battle even with our best ever player? I'm happy to alienate foolishness. But you're the one talking nonsense. You clearly dont understand the economics of modern football. No-one wants him to leave,Hes our best ever player but certain amounts of money make it easier to accept and move on from by strengthening the squad rather than relying on one unhappy player week in week out. If we block his move this summer he 1000000% goes next summer or even January, potentially having downed tools during that time frame, is it really worth losing out on 50ish million in transfer fees? We recorded a loss of £30m last year, we do not have the financial might to be able to start throwing our weight around and turning down figures upwards of 75-80m.

Not if he goes on strike he wont . How do you explain Saido Berahino and Jack Rodwell being paid when at West Brom and Sunderland respectively?

If Zaha defo wants to go then i would think about it, no point in keeping him. Chambers would be an ideal replacement if Sakho goes and Reiss Nelson is another zaha (with a bit more pace) in the making. IMO What makes you think that Reiss Nelson would even consider coming to Palace, he is hot property and wants to stay at Arsenal anyway

Id be be over the moon if we signed Nelson this window.

How do you explain Saido Berahino and Jack Rodwell being paid when at West Brom and Sunderland respectively? I would imagine they didn't get their whole wages mate . If a player is 10 mins late for training he gets a fine . If I go on strike I don't get paid so I would assume if it's not an official strike he wouldn't either . Otherwise they would all go on strike every time they throw a strop or want a few weeks off. This is the real world we live in ! You don't work you don't get paid . How do you know they got paid ? And it worked out well for them didn't it.
