All the deaths we are getting now are from before the lockdown and it appears to be leveling off rather than spiraling.....that's now previous viruses in the past have acted as herd immunity spread. The building of extra hospitals and provision happened quickly and lockdown or no lockdown it would have.... and has sufficed on capacity. It is inevitable that financial pressures will ensure that restrictions will be lifted at the very first opportunity. If the NHS is managing the load then there is no reason not to. Sure, however we have seen that the NHS were able to respond in terms of capacity....though to the detriment to other patients. Stirling is right about a lot of things. He likes to speak his mind and gets as much back as he gives out.

I’m not saying the majority of prisoners don’t deserve to be there but remove the option of going out for a walk, satellite tv, internet access, as much alcohol and tobacco as you can carry, takeaway deliveries and family members being close by and more people have had a taste now.

Really depends on the prison and on the offence. 5 years playing the PlayStation and pool doesn't seem tough for stabbing someone to death. Yet, some people are in 23 hour a day lock-down and slopping out for two years for a couple of ounces of cannabis or not paying fines. In Ireland a woman was imprisoned for not paying bus fare, whilst a burglar with 42 offences walked free. I see similar stories the whole time. And, yes, I am sick of lock-down. I'm on the missus is really grating me stage. Red and Blue Army!

Funnily enough I agree with you danh on the lockdown and however long it takes to get these cases and deaths down. I'm still having to work BTW as is my son and my mrs does a few hours at school once a week. Stirling has a different take and surely it isnt political or any other descriptor. This thread is going to overlap race, finance,areas and all sorts. It's one of those threads where even WE isnt politicising and hes got an A* in that and would admit it I reckon. I've got indoor slippers,garden boat shoes for the decking,garden trainers off on entry for the indoor slippers,out the front trainers off for indoor slippers on entry, I've got boots off clothes in the machine and in the shower straight from work.
