I wouldn't be so disrespectful to the club or those who are responsible for the major decisions !

I believe that Mr Parish was wearing his 'Business hat' which rarely leaves his pate !

How many decent free transfer strikers are there? The striker role is the hardest to fill, I doubt any on a free transfer are going to solve our problem.

I’ve not read the entire thread so forgive me if I’ve missed something.
It would perhaps be logical to extend his contract at a lower wage, as that would essentially mean that the club wage bill is reduced and in the event that he rediscovers his form, he becomes someone of value to sell (as he has a long contract to pay off), meaning we are able to recoup some transfer money.
Allowing his contract to run down, with him on a high wage, and us walk away with nothing at the end, feels like a poor business decision in my view.

What do you reckon his salary has been adjusted to? As a second string striker which he is now behind Ayew, yet considering the circumstances, £40k per week would be my guess. Will we ever find out?

This is what SP says about Tomkins and CB. No argument about JT at all - good deal for us - but CB - really!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Levels of performance" - a centre forward scoring maybe one goal every 30 or so games - FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just cannot make this S**t up! I can only hope it is to make him worth something when we sell him in January - £20 instead of £3.50!
