Todays first download is a set by Joe Jackson that was recorded at the Whiskey A Go Go, Hollywood, Ca in May 1979. Joe was on tour in support of his debut album "Look Sharp" and was also working on his 2nd album - "I'm The Man" and he previews a few songs from that album - which was released later the same year. He also covers a couple of songs Chuck Berry's "Come On" and The Maytals "Pressure Drop". This is a great show in superb quality, and is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by the Tom Robinson Band that was recorded at the Golders Green Hippodrome in 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a BBC FM broadcast. Probably not the whole set as it only runs for 25 minutes - but its a good one with some great tracks on it. I did have a request for some live TRB - there's not a lot of good quality stuff about - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album I've posted by this band. They are called Cobra and this is a show that was recorded in Memphis, TN for the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show. It's in superb quality and is a wicked set. I don't know anything about this band - I've had a quick listen and they rock... and then some. If you don't know this band... check this one out, if you do know this band, I imagine you're already downloading it...
