Well if biological differences in blacks and Asians isn’t a reason for disproportionate numbers of cases then will there be other blame? And if it’s a possibility then perhaps there won’t be any blame for the disproportionate number of cases during the virus pandemic while we’re waiting for any tests and evidence. I might be taking this a step or two further but when the blame is poverty, I don’t see how more living space can be made available in built up areas in cities where there is no space.

He has and admitted so. Hes even apologised to other posters so danh you are wrong. Its a big club of people everywhere. I thank you sir. There have been many valid observations made on the thread that differed from my take and maybe all of them or some of them will be proven right once this is all done. You, Rudi, me and others all have had different takes, sometimes agreeing and sometimes not....Hell, my take altered within this very thread: it's all good. You know that what you're getting here are certain adults carrying on with their childish dislikes rather than just dealing with the issues.

Maybe I’ll be childish enough to run to one of the site’s owners because I don’t like a moderator.

Hard to read this and then come to any other conclusion than that the government monumentally f*cked up a few weeks ago. I agree that those events in the U.K. shouldn’t have gone ahead if lockdown was the strategy we were going to take (Cheltenham was unbelievable) but the difference in cases and deaths compared to Ireland with us both having equal number of beds to population will again be down to Ireland being more rural nearly everywhere, and more Britons travelling to and from infected countries.

A load of whataboutery. I simply commented on what appear to be facts. It's hard to immediately conclude poverty or housing density are the issues given the difference between black and hispanic people in Illinois but they could be.

Unsurprisingly this has proven how utterly selfish a lot of the British population are.

Yup, I suspect London is such a hub due to its very international nature A few days ago croydon Borough had roughly similar or the same amount of cases to population as boroughs closer to London. Surrey had about half as many and Sutton Borough was in between. What I’d be interested to see is how the cases differ between wealthier and poorer parts of the boroughs. I certainly don’t blame the system because there’s only so much that can be done with densely populated areas as they are now. But I wonder how much people who can shop for 1-2 weeks or more can protect themselves more than people who have to go out and do things like shopping more often. Then there’s quiet areas and streets like Balham, which are like pockets of village streets. (I’d have been concerned about people in coffee shops returning from skiing trips a couple of months ago so they haven’t been completely safe either) London is largely office professionals and ethnic minorities and therefore a higher proportion of elderly in ethnic minorities. How many over 60 or 70 not from London office professional white people are there now in London? Most move out before 40 or haven’t reached retirement due to when the Clapham and Brixton gentrification started. I expect the disproportionate numbers of ethnic cases are due to unfortunately being in the wrong place.

Furthermore Police have been issuing fines of 1,000 Australian Dollars (Approx £500)for those flouting the rules. Family reside in a beach resort and Police have been very much in evidence in their town.
