Very good point. But it seems the likes of man u are looking at lower salaries. Wilf will have to take a big haircut to move on. True. Even Sideshow Bob Fellaini had to get one in the end.

Man utd is the obvious destination. Negotiate around the 25% and take net say £55m, equivalent to about £70m. No add ons. No sell ons. That should be nice and straight. Will also kick those northern gooner tosssers I think Liverpool will be looking at this very closely too. Klopp has previously expressed his admiration for Zaha and Liverpool would be very interested in adding a player who offers something different if the fee was considerably less than what we want. They can obviously offer Champions League football, but of course no guarantee of a first team spot.

It is very simple!!!!! The price is £80m......if you cant afford it, look elsewhere.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Zaha won't personally speak to Parish or hand in a transfer request as I read he is due a £6M loyalty bonus, or something very similar along those lines from a guy who is usually ITK on Twitter (Don't always believe the internet, mind) A few people on here said I have undervalued Wilf saying we should look at taking around £50-60M with further add ons. He is worth £100M+ to us, correct and I totally agree in relation to our PL status. He is only worth what someone is willing to pay, which isn't £100M. People have continued to say 'well, we won't sell him and let him sulk and honour his contract' and we just need a reality check on this thread ! Sadly, player and agent power is now at it's highest and contracts only serve a purpose in regards to holding a players transfer value or release clause. Arsenal need to up their bid, yes. Zaha will continue to train and play for Palace until resolved, yes. The point I keep making is if this affects his performances and we don't cash in, we have a deprecating asset not playing well and we struggle without a good fee to replace him or bulk the squad up. It doesn't mean I'm right and it's what I think or want to happen, it's a point of view in regards to the worst case scenario.

This is being blown out of all proportion by the media - they love gossip and stories. To be absolutely correct it's the readers that love gossip and stories and the media just give the readers what they want

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle We absolutely must not sell him this window. What we MUST do is plan for him to go next window. Get some players in that mean we can cope without him when/if he goes. Right now, losing wilf is the single most dangerous thing we can do. For the club to be in this position and to be overly reliant on one player is ludicrous. This has been the issue for a few seasons now, and little has been done to rectify it. So come on Palace, spend wisely and give the new players some time to bed in before losing our Talisman!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle There’s player and agent power but not at £40 mil and at half our valuation. That doesn’t deserve any more time than telling the brother (not agent l) to think before he speaks and Arsenal to p1ss off. It will get pressured when any of these clubs get to over £60 mil, but even then, Parish has to try to hold out for more and give a deadline because we’ll need 2 weeks at least to get players in and for Zaha to get over any sulking if it doesn’t happen before he steps out for the 2nd or 3rd match after a ‘groin injury’.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle The most important things are: 1) The correct price whether that be cash or cash plus player/s. 2) The replacement either comes as part of the deal or we get the replacement agreed and signed up before Wilf goes. Anything else would be disastrous.
