Pellergino wants to go back to Argentina. I really don't see the appeal. It's a dangerous game, when you appoint a South American manager and their family remain in their homeland. Many players have been homesick like tevez.

Whoever we go for this saga needs to come to a conclusion soon. Transfers need to be sorted and the new man, whoever he is, will want his own players.

We need to make a decision and get on with it. All of the candidates are of a standard so time to make it happen and draw this to a close.

Whilst I agree with a few on here about wanting the appointment soon, I only want it hurried so as to shut this thread down!

Some on here need to calm down and trust that CPFC2010 are doing their best to do the right thing by our beloved club.

There is no panic! Players are still on holiday and SP et al are more than aware of the need to prepare for next season. Leave them to it!

People need to chill a bit. The board never expected to have to make a change this summer. As soon as sam went they went after Silva. However, he was already in advanced talks with Watford and Porto. Likewise, when talking to his representatives it became abundantly clear that silva saw his next move as s blatant stepping stone, trust me. There is an almost gentleman agreement in place with Watford and silva in that he knows how they operate in getting rid of coaches and they know, regardless of how well he does, he'd be off in shot for a 'bigger' club. Parish didn't want this and I for one applaud him for that.

Reading between the lines it will be Pellegrino. The Dyche story makes sense but because we'd be trying to get him from elsewhere and there has been zero leaks from Burnley, I think it isn't going to happen.
