Howe's only job criteria seems to be that it has to be "within 50 miles of Bournemouth" so that would make sense. Put money on his next job being Swindon, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Brighton and as long as the odds are better than 4-1 on each of them, you'll be quids in soon or later.

The more I think about it, the more I struggle to understand how we get a good manager on board when there's this uncertainty about Textor.

I know Textor seemed to walk back some comments, but it also seems clear there is some kind of interest there.
