You ended on a question so while I've kind of already answered that as well I'll repeat myself. No other religion in the UK has introduced the combination of mass rapes, terrorism, honour killings, acid attacks, female genital mutilation that this particular religion has. Due to the appeasement these issues are only going to get worse with demographic increases as that comes with power and representation. Those who enabled this will have to answer for it to future generations. No one other than Robinson was seriously addressing these realities yet not only has he been silenced by the so called 'liberals', he's been persecuted as well...which you appear to support.
Terrorism liked to Christianity is pretty previlent in the United Kingdom and had a far bigger impact on the country than Islamic terrorism. He's never mentioned far right terrorism, which accounts for about 20% of all terrorist activity in the UK and is on the rise. FGM in not a religious requirement and a practice that has been used by many religions. On the other hand Male GM is a practice in Judasism. Acid attacts have have been carried out by all sorts of people. Ferne Cotton's ex chucked it over a crowd in a club a few years ago. In 2019 2.4m people in the UK reported domestic abuse. 2 women a week are killed. It's something that spans society and is not due to Islam. Remember, Christian wedding ceremonies say a wife should "Love, Honour, and Obey" their partner.

Presumably if we don’t like this, we can just pop down to Brizzle and chuck it in the harbour?

It's not very often that I agree with Ricky Gervais but credit where credit is due he has stuck his head above the parapet and no doubt will be slaughtered by social media. I just hope he sticks to his guns doesn't apologise and that other celebrities join him. Without freedom of speech all the other freedoms we enjoy will soon wither away.

There are the Left, the PC woke brigade, who do not respect the fact that others, like me, have a different viewpoint and they just want to suppress 'Free speech' and democratic processes. They believe they are morally superior to those with different opinions and all this dastardly 'Cancel culture' is part of their armoury. They believe it is acceptable to suppress views different to the ones they hold. I detest them but I respect their right to express their views as part of a 'Free society'.It doesn't work the other way and 'Free speech is being eroded by the day.

Having been heavily involved in many cases involving victims of FGM if you really think male circumcision is comparable that is staggering!

Edited by Willo (15 Jul 2020 10.05am) It's not just free speech. How many Remainers are also part of this movement? How many Corbyn voters? People I like have told me they don't believe voting works and that is why direct action is needed. Of course they forget that Brexit is the greatest example of democracy at work a small group of people formed a movement and then a party and campaigned democratically for their goals. Eventually they had election success so that they forced a referendum but apparently the "woke" doesn't think this was a play book they could follow. Far better to whinge on social media about how it is sooo unfair than actually campaign at the ballot box for your cause. The greens got about 5% of the vote at the last GE yet Extinction Rebellion thinks there voice is more important than the rest of us. Democracy is about the losers respecting the majority. We are slowly losing all our freedoms if this contempt for democracy continues.

A statue of Paul Stephenson, who organised the Bristol Bus Boycott of the 60's would have been a great choice.
