Like him or not, he should be able to go out with his family without rent-a-mob attacking him Imagine they'd done that to David Cameron Edited by eagles2011 (23 Mar 2015 10.19am) Completely agree...I'm certainly no UKIP supporter but this is just shameful. The one thing I would question is how they knew he'd be in there in the first place to organise such a thing? "Intelligence" !!!! (But not in the context of being clever!)

Ass holes. It was absolutely disgusting. His family didn't deserve all that acrimony. And I would say the same if the perpertrators had been carrying Conservative banners.

£50 Billion plus yearly loss for the UK if we leave the EU according to the FT today. Which makes you UKIP supporters stonewall stonking barmy. You want to run us into the ground for the sake of some archaic ideological views? Free markets = free movement. That's part of capitalism and resultant globalisation. Get over it. £50 billion quid. You can fvck right off Nigel. Do have the methodology utilised to come up with this figure to verify whether it's correct or not?
Where is the one from 'Open Europe'?

Ah yes! The Greens, who have so successfully displayed their credentials in Brighton......
More likely about his deputy: A slim majority of moderates under amiable council leader Mr Kitcat have fought ceaseless challenges from a cabal of hard-Left councillors led by his deputy Phelim Mac Cafferty, a prominent gay activist. On a serious(ish) note, I will be working the election in May - as I did the Euros last time - and predict a decent showing by UKIP. A fairly significant proportion of voters offer their views at the ballot table as they collect their paper (more than you would think). Aside from a few whose views bordered on racist, the majority view was that UKIP were "a better option than all the others", helped in no small part by being the only ones who 'door-stepped' the electorate to ask opinions. The other main 3 parties are viewed as being too similar, not necessarily in policies, but in that they are viewed by the electorate as being in politics for personal gain rather than to actually make a difference.

Farage deserves respect and the same protection Cameron has. Lefty scum thinking they have the right to treat people like this out having a quiet family lunch...... bang out of order. That made me giggle

Of course, they do have the right to protest, its part of the democratic process, and provided they don't break the law, its perfectly legal to engage in political discourses in public spaces. Still, I think its in bad taste to interrupt someone during their dinner.

No matter your view of ol' Nige, it's clearly bang out of order confronting someone in their local. It's counterproductive too. Across demographics and political lines the majority of people disagree with this so it'll bring UKIP more votes not less.
