Oh yes that. He met 2 leading Palestinians (see above) at a meeting chaired by a holocaust denier. Once again doesn't reflect his views more poor judgement and unsuitability for high office.

"People like you" is not talking down to anyone and is the kind of language directed at me all the time here, which doesn't offend me at all. That your views are similar to others found here is hardly a controversial idea is it? I don't yet know where I will be at Christmas but if I am around, why not? If you like cask ales try the "Proper Job" or "Arthurs".

It enhances his suitability for office in my view. He should talk to anybody not be restricted by elderly white establishment figures. If it was left to them we would not have talked to the IRA. Now nearly 20 years of peace.

It's Parliamentary democracy in action and has nothing at all to do with whether your voted remain, or leave, in 2016. To suggest it is is just the excuse of the hard line "leave at all costs" group of losers. Losers give up trying to find solutions.
So proud of our democracy.

Hopefully this will see the back of referendums, this one has caused virtual civil war. We elect a government to govern, they have access to the expertise to do that, the public do not. This referendum showed the worst of the voters picking on the EU as the scapegoat for their own faults. Governments are replaceable at elections, that's enough for me. The less we hear from the voters the better.

So proud of our democracy. Where do you get this entitlement to a general election, one is not due for 2 years.

I am no fan of Corbyn or his politics.Nor do I defend anyone failing to abide by Parliamentary rules. So my comment is a more general one. Is it not better for our politicians to listen directly to all shades of opinion, no matter how distasteful? Listening doesn't mean approval and it also gives them a chance to communicate our standards and expectations.

We all look back and wish we had made a different decision. What I am proud about is the whole system, working, warts and all, on our behalf. It's clearly producing huge stress at the moment but it remains our greatest asset which protects us from creep towards potential dictatorship.
