Little appetite as I stated.

Nope.

Here's a quick Friday night quiz seeing as we can't go to the pub.

Without a Google search, which publication currently hosts the following comment from a Palace supporter regarding our manager:

'Immediately everyone except the forwards goes into defensive roles and we try to settle for a single goal victory at home against an ordinary side. What a surprise, we concede a goal within ten minutes. The same tactic has haunted Palace ever since he joined us and he still hasn't caught on!

Are these seemingly illogical tactics and strange team selections the decisions of a manager capable of gaining success with a talented Premier league team? I think not. It's time for a new manager.'

I admit that I cannot provide an answer to the publication, but the article is yet another example of opprobrium flying the way of Mr Hodgson like a grit-studded snowball.

Ha!

Possibly even more surprising than that.

I’ve no clue mate, I’ll have two stabs at Evening Standard or HLTCO.

Haven’t drunk since Boxing Day so inebriated enough to amuse myself but not think too proper!

It was a bit of a trick question in fairness.

It was from Palace in the big time, the best of Eagle eye 1987 to 1994.

Which of course means that the clueless, incompetent manager drawing such hostile criticism was in fact, Steve Coppell.

Yep, that Steve Coppell.

Proof perhaps that nobody in our clubs history has been able to make all the people happy all the time!

Shame there wasn't a Steve Out thread at the time...

My odds were even longer than I originally thought!

Interesting contribution though I have to say.
