I really have no issue with you advancing your opinion on 'black' or 'white' culture. I agree with Teddy's responses to you and as I've stated previously I think culture is significantly less important than genes and are more semantics but hey it's fine.....All opinions are valid and worthy for discussion. No problem. Nor is it a problem with me as it has nothing at all to do with the point I have been making. However, when you write the words, 'Minds need to be changed everywhere.' That for me doesn't tally with an innocent expression of an opinion but rather a call for indoctrination along your ideas......as that would need to happen for 'minds need to be changed everywhere'. [b My opinion does not involve any indoctrination at all. We need to see minds changed through information, education and leadership so that people voluntarily reach a different conclusion. If you are black and want to think in terms of 'black culture' bully for you. You can believe in pan African culture if you like. You can but I wager that as time passes people don't. This is fine for Asian and White versions as well. The accuracy of it isn't even that important....you don't get to decide someone's identity and how they express it....they do......Unless you're an authoritarian like the Chinese and decide to tell everyone how they need to think of themselves. Much less apparent in Asia where people with similar skin colour, and sometimes identical racial origins, have distinctly different cultures and would never even think of describing themselves as anything other than, Indonesian, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Thai or Filipino just as examples. Which is what you sound like. Specsavers provide hearing services as well. As for skin colour....I was stating a physical fact that no one's skin is actually either of these colours but I have zero problems with what words they use. I'm white and proud of my ancestry and history. The fact that I'm not technically actually white is pedantry. You can believe yourself to be whatever you like, and even "technically" contradict yourself, but doing so doesn't even begin to address the point I am making. All you are doing is confirming you are part of the problem that I see. Which is that a single "white", or a single "black", culture, group, attitude or whatever unifying term you choose, is a myth. To continue to refer to people in this way doesn't solve problems when it divides people unnecessarily. Getting rid of this choice of language won't impact your ability to be proud of your ancestry and history. It would only modify the language you use to describe it. How long have you been on this site now?.....and you are still using this rookie posting format.

Mine is that it's quicker and easier to deal with lengthy posts that meander this way, as otherwise it won't be clear what issue the response is addressing. If I encounter posts that deserve more care then they get it.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

By including your text within the existing quotes you make any reply to it require a completely avoidable cut and paste of the text. Perhaps I should just regard this as typical.

If you don't know how to properly reply to long posts via using quotes to interject between points that's one thing. Otherwise it's just bad form, regardless of what you think of the poster.

Nothing the least bit ironic involved. That others here might write long, tedious and often one paragraph diatribes is as tough for me as it is for anyone else. Whilst I might throw a little bit of sarcasm into the pot on occasions, just to add some flavour, my concerns are always the comments themselves and the sentiments which lie behind them. How about when the sentiment behind the comments is an inclination to wind you up?

Three African-American Michigan voters have filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump and his campaign, accusing them of disenfranchising Black voters with efforts to challenge President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory. Bring it on, voter suppression by Trump has resulted in many likely democrat voters being denied their rights. The thrust of Guiliani's legal argument seems to be that democrats should be beheaded.

The games up for "the don", more senior republicans telling him to concede defeat, including the penn state republican over seeing the count, Joes 80.000 in front. This is near end game peoples, no doubt "the don" will say he was always going to leave after xmas anyway as he has a multi BILLION $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ deal to sign, undislosed for security reasons, but the white house is to restricting for the amount of $$$$$$$ he needs to spend and to keep him in the lifestyle he is accustomed to!

Can you prove Trump committed voter suppression though.
