they did, not so sure anymore. there's a lot of very wealthy people there who understandably see the tories as better bed fellows.

You'd think....but I suspect the reasons they vote left are deeper than that.

However, I'd agree that it's more balanced over here than America. However the lobbies are painfully activist.

They aren't a politically homogeneous group and imo a very large proportion of Britain's Jewish community now votes tory.

Corbyn will have been the final coffin nail in any Spurs supporters voting Labour.

It is disgusting how unsafe Britain has become for Jews who choose to wear their traditional clothing.

I had a coffee with our local Orthodox rabbi quite recently and he didn't seem unduly concerned about his appearance attracting unwanted attention. Admittedly only a sample of one but by comparison with the Eastern Europe that so many people wax lyrical about here vis-a-vis a lack of Islamic terrorism, I'd sure feel a hell of a lot safer wearing a homberg in Stamford Hill than in Budapest.

Everything's relative innit.

About half here....and no, not politically homogeneous.....even in America....just mostly democrat....but again, compare that to how they vote in Israel.

Essentially minorities are majority anti establishment, until they are the establishment.

I think there were slightly different reasons for why Jewish people were drawn towards socialism and communism. But I guess we're essentially saying the same thing.

From this article:

'The support from prominent and well-financed groups undermines Robinson’s self-styled image of a far-right populist underdog whose anti-Islam agenda is being silenced by the British establishment.'

You can't win with these losers. They do everything they can to defund and de-platform this guy.....and then some of the pillocks have the cheeck to complain about him being funded by sources they haven't yet closed down.....because of some 'image'.

I deliberately chose not to link to this story in the Guardian. Strong parallels with the anti-semitic Corbyn stories peddled by the same rag imo.

I notice the TR story has been picked up the beeb.

Anyone who threatens the establishment....and so on.

Honestly that's probably Corbyn's best selling point.....while I don't want to watch Rome burn....at least some of the rats will be cleaned out.

I was quite taken with his approach towards claiming MPs expenses. That and the shabby dragged through a hedge backwards look. Nice change from the chunky bling that May goes for.
