Nope. Not as important to everyone as it is to you

Think it is fair to say that the by election result is a very poor one for Labour. UKIP and Tory vote falling away as well.

Sheffield does have a history of voting LD though and this is a return of someone voted out 4 years ago.

Does show the difficulty Corbyn is having in turning his apparent popularity at pulling in crowds into electoral success.

Caught up on the question time debate this morning, I'm not sure either candidate came across well to be honest.

I didn't think it was possible to make Corbyn look like the better candidate for party leadership but Owen Smith is having a damn good bash.

Jesus. Question time was hilarious.

A man who actually still believes in disarmament versus a man who thinks we should have another referendum.

Beyond belief. Labour are sunk.

Quite! I thought Smith came across as patronising (bordering on arrogance) to both the audience and the general public. His idea of having another referendum seems totally undemocratic.

Do you believe in nuclear proliferation?

Maybe you'll like them as this information could be humiliating and degrading for them.

Corbyn actually split up with his wife because she insisted their son go to a grammar school.

Like Corbyn himself did?

And he lost that argument too, she won and the son went to a grammar school.

The important thing is, he tried.

Which will also probably be his epitaph.

That was another inter-Labour battle he lost.

Last time I posted something you didn't like you said you thought I'd retired... now you must be getting desperate if you need to fling personal insults at a man with Parkinsons, Dupeytren's Contracture and Arthritis.

I'll repeat what I told you last time.... due to my many ailments I will only post when I feel up to it as it is physically demanding for me to type.

Reminding you and OKnotOK what a scruffy smelly tw*t Corbyn is definitely worth the effort though.

Once again you go on about scruffy. Is that really the pinnacle of your political debating skills?

Smith didn't seem to know who he was really appealing to. He tried to out-Corbyn Corbyn at times, but no takers- Smith's voting record speaks for itself.

Thought the nuclear weapons part was interesting- one of the few areas where Smith actually in tune with the electorate (sort of) but he flubbed it a bit, because Corbyn managed to spin it as 'are you happy to give the Tories a blank cheque for this when they cut everything else'?

If you meshed them together, Corbyn's ideals and policies in Smith's slick exterior, you'd have one hell of a politician.
