Got to call you out over this, his name is ROY with n 'R'. Why people find it funny, even now to take the pi$$ out of someone's speech impediment is wrong.

He is our manager & should be afforded the RESPECT he deserves.

For all those in the 1st half slating off Ayew(tongue-in-cheek).

Very good. Ayew deserves a lot more respect than some posters afford him, he is a goal machine (once every three years or so).

possibly meant
'About time' or ' given time' ?
Think he should get a run out until end of season, be given that time.

No, I think he was just reminding us that he was still alive.

Recent performances had created some doubt.

Let's hope his goal gives him some confidence.

I think most do the 'woy' with some degree of affection, no malice intended.

Absolutely brilliant weekend away. I managed to lose my voice and also my bag which I left on the train in Manchester on my joyous and drunken journey home. Targeted by a honeytrap at Manchester Piccadilly just after too. Very attractive woman approached me and my friend and managed to use distraction tactics to steal his glasses but we rumbled her. She'd even suggested a night in a hotel.....don't think so love! Then the last train was cancelled so I had to get myself via two trains to Shrewsbury and then railway company had to pay for a taxi for me resulting in a 1am return home.
Thought I would share my entertaining story. As for the football it was brilliant, I've been a massive critic of the PV sacking and even more so if the reappointment of Roy but my opinion is rapidly changing and an apology forthcoming. Not just the scoreline but some of what we witnessed- Eze being challenged by 3 of their players at once and him emerging with the ball whilst two of them clattered into each other and then some 'olay passing 'at the end. What a weekend, what a performance and what a result!

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"

Roy puts the others to shame with his 'smart-suitedness'.

Most of them, including MOTD, look like they have just got up or been dragged through a hedge backwards.

And Ray not in shorts yesterday, CPFC officials are really a cut above the dross one normally gets with the Premier League.

I can see him handing over to Scott Parker.

Roy got the subs right as well. Giving that all important 20mibs to some players. Makes them all feel part of the win.

I totally agree, however peterboro was quoting a comment on the BBC website.

Or the same?

Easy to jump to conclusions after the second half yesterday but I would say we played equally as well in the first half against Leicester with Wilf in the team. The biggest difference was the finishing. Yesterday we were sublime in that respect in the second half.

You just know that Ray won't wear shorts anymore - superstition. Let's see if I'm right. Footballers and managers always superstitious.
