The essence of his comments went on to say, having taken points from top sides recently, regardless of how we were playing, and with many of our remaining games v teams below us in the table we stand a reasonable chance of taking points from, what do we do - boot out a decent manager!

We were all raving about PV last season and up to December. Now we are floundering like a rudderless ship. Although I believe we will 'survive', this is a panic move by SP and will make the challenge much much harder.

IF a miracle were to happen on Sunday, what will SP and co be thinking then? It wont of course but we can and will get at least one unexpected result in the remaining games, which with a few other results and draws will see us home. Then the clock will be ticking to reorganise and tease more of the same to Selhurst.

We should look NOW to appointing a bigger name like Raffa B, Nuno ES etc., but I guess we will end up with uncle Roy. If so, I hope only to the end of the season, but why not give Paddymac a shot, with a handover when the longer term replacement is found.
