Whoever might be deployed in the CG position knows they will have to work as hard as he did so competition for playing time will be fierce. In all fairness the CG impact faded later on in the season once we get found out, but no denying his energy, goals and assists probably contributed to half our points tally. We will just need to mix up our style a bit. I do think Loftus-Cheek could be a sound alternative though.

If Dazza’s right about Doucoure this has been a promising start with Ebiowei & Johnstone. I would like us to press on and strengthen the midfield further with O’Brien and Aribo. I really like the look of both of those players. Add Chris Richards or Levi Colwill and a sneaky AWB Loan and think this is a 10/10 window.
