Primarily yes but he's played the odd game at RB and LB. Given how good Andersen and Guehi's injury record was last year, then (touch wood) we're probably more likely to see him in a back 5 or at full back I'd have thought?

If we do sign AWB and everyone stays fit, there's going to be a couple of players getting very few minutes with little prospect of a sale so I can't see AWB going through.

I very much saw Richards as being back up anywhere in defence should we need it. He would need to really pull something out of the bag to displace any of them but good luck to him if he strives for that, will only benefit us.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I agree! and Ward and Clyne are both great cover for him and both can also provide great cover for left back also .

With five substitutions now allowed, it makes sense to have as strong a bench as possible

Yes I have seen him a good few times and if we sign him I have thought up a good song for him already.

Although he was good for us in the season before he departed to Man U i am of the opinion it is not a position we need to address. I am also seeing the modern full back as more of a ball playing midfielder needed to beat the press imposed by other teams. I would say we need better cover at left back and in central midfield and not at right back where we potentially have Clyne, Ward, Richards & Ferguson.

I don't know if that's what specifically happened here - but companies sell deferred payments to banks all the time - for example a £20 million payment deferred for 12 months could be sold at maybe 90 days into the 12 month period for say 98.5% of the outstanding value -(hypothetical figures) it obviously has the desired effect of improving cash flow, you are in effect trading off a %age of the outstanding deferred balance for money now -

The new Martin Kelly? I do hope he gets more games though...

So it could be a case of, 'Let's go Round Again' by AWB.
