If we do sign AWB and everyone stays fit, there's going to be a couple of players getting very few minutes with little prospect of a sale so I can't see AWB going through.

I very much saw Richards as being back up anywhere in defence should we need it. He would need to really pull something out of the bag to displace any of them but good luck to him if he strives for that, will only benefit us.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Although he was good for us in the season before he departed to Man U i am of the opinion it is not a position we need to address. I am also seeing the modern full back as more of a ball playing midfielder needed to beat the press imposed by other teams. I would say we need better cover at left back and in central midfield and not at right back where we potentially have Clyne, Ward, Richards & Ferguson.

I don't know if that's what specifically happened here - but companies sell deferred payments to banks all the time - for example a £20 million payment deferred for 12 months could be sold at maybe 90 days into the 12 month period for say 98.5% of the outstanding value -(hypothetical figures) it obviously has the desired effect of improving cash flow, you are in effect trading off a %age of the outstanding deferred balance for money now - Originally posted by Nicholas91

So it could be a case of, 'Let's go Round Again' by AWB.
