Thanks for quoting what I stated. Can you explain why around one 2500 men are convicted sex offenders, but one in 585 trans women are sex offenders? There is a point here beyond prisons. Why should trans women be using female single sex spaces when they display a male offending pattern? Edited by Pembroke (30 Jan 2023 12.10am) I don't know from where you get your figures. You have to be careful with Trans as it depends upon people letting you know how they identify. For example, the Prison Inspectorate’s 2018–19 report found in prisoner surveys that 1% of prisoners in prisons designated for women, and 2% of prisoners in prisons designated for men say they are transgender… it would indicate that a much greater overall number of trans prisoners were being held in prison than is officially recorded (i.e. as many as 1600 prisoners rather than 125). This would mean that the proportion of trans people held for sexual offences would be much smaller and potentially as low as 4%, and not the over 50% you claim. I make no claims for accuracy of data but I do say the constant sniping at those with responsibility in this area, and the particularly harsh attacks by Fair Play for Women, concern me. Let's put this into perspective, in November 2020 there were 22 Trans women in women's prisons in England and Wales, so presumably maybe half could have been sex offenders, although maybe not as sex offenders probably are more likely to be put into male prisons. Could some of those 22 women be a danger to other women? Well maybe, but: Specific ‘Local Transgender Case Boards’ are held for every trans prisoner being accommodated according to their affirmed gender, regardless of their offence. These Boards consider offence type, past behaviour, risk behaviours, mental health, physical characteristics (including strength and genitalia), disability, medication and several other aspects of an individual’s history and situation as they relate to the potential for harm, both to and by the prisoner. The MOJ take this pretty seriously. Secondly, sex offenders in U.K. prisons are classed as a vulnerable group – because other prisoners tend to target them for violence. As a result, they are often placed in separate ‘Vulnerable Prisoner Units’ and this applies to men and women (trans or cis) who have committed sexual offences. The MoJ recommends separate accommodation for Trans women 'wherever possible'. Edited by Mapletree (30 Jan 2023 10.44am)

Why it is transitional men often aspire to be this kind of woman, when feminists have fought for decades to be treated as people, not sex objects. A famous trans woman (who I forget the name of) wrote that when she was wolf whistled walking past a building site her heart burst with joy and she knew she had finally become a woman.
When they start this at 35+ years old, this is the result - they also have a tendency to become very fond of cute fluffy animal toys.

Edited by Mapletree (30 Jan 2023 10.44am) Recent census states there are x number of trans women cross reference with ministry of justice figures and we get a figure of 1 - 585. If we do the same with your second paragraph you will still see a elevated figure v women sexual offending. Can you explain why so many trans women are sexual offenders? Why should trans women be using female single sex spaces when they as a group display a male sexual offending pattern far in excess of females? Edited by Pembroke (31 Jan 2023 11.25am)

I don't wish them, or anyone else, any harm, but how have the feelings of a vanishingly small number of people become so important? Why is anyone else supposed to care?

They certainly do. I don't wish them, or anyone else, any harm, but how have the feelings of a vanishingly small number of people become so important? Why is anyone else supposed to care? I’m going to use a numbered, step by step articulation to summarise my hypothesis as to why this is happening and attempt to avoid my usual rambling descent into nonsense and madness that even I become to bamboozled to proofread: 1. A genuine sentiment which should fall into the category of human decency, though unfortunately many do not possess this trait, is expressed - don’t be awful to any given group of people just because they’re different from you. In this case ‘trans’ individuals. Hear them out, show some understanding or willingness to consider if not just compassion and let’s see how we can all coexist together peacefully and prosperously. Live and let live, it’s a far better way of being and something humanity should strive towards. 2. Some bright spark goes ‘hmm… this is a door opening here, perhaps it can be exploited for my personal, financial and/or even possibly far more nefariously inspired gain?’ This is aligned to by those willing to blindly follow anything due to their own inability to think amongst others such as those perhaps just angry at the world and wanting to see it burn, change etc. 3. Now far removed from its original sentiment, the subject area is taken to town by those who’ve hijacked it to achieve whatever ends. Perhaps even those within said group amongst others get drawn in and misled by the ‘hijackers’ and the conflation with the original sentiment so are onboard too. 4. Anybody who dares to point out or object to this change of direction or extreme, altered movement is painted as an enemy to the original sentiment (albeit in very different form now) castrated, ostracised or worse by those still pushing the new narrative.” 5. Some do dare speak up, this qualifies as ‘news’ by media outlets and categorised as crime by the powers that be due to either them being ‘in’ on profiting from the runaway train or ideologically coerced into choosing a side of the fence, it’s not safe to oppose it now, it’s gone too far and gathered too much momentum. What started off as be nice, or actually just not vicious, to this group is now ‘bend to all their demands, actively promote them and pay to be bombarded with media/propaganda/promotion or risk consequences including potential prosecution for daring to not think and do as you’re told. I did it again, despite stating I wouldn’t, didn’t I? I’m any case goodnight and… good luck!

I suspect that SOME Trans activists as opposed to Trans people are just looking for a group to belong to, some are just weird sados who have now found a home. So you get the nonsense of a functional biological male who dresses as a woman loudly complaining that lesbians wont date them.

The organisers suggesting the children wouldn't understand what was happening tends to undermine its purpose; although what that might have been is best left to the imagination.

This is absolutely true: I attended a post-christening event there not long ago. It used to be called the 'St. Germains' and was a notoriously tough Celtic pub not too many moons past. At this post-christening event, which had been booked intentionally and the pub aware, it had drag acts on the other side performing highly sexualised material. It was an early Sunday afternoon event. There were children of all ages and families present. Make of that what you will. Pub is in Forest Hill just off Stanstead Road,
