Khan's tweet is disgusting.
Floyd was murdered but David Amess passed away.
Dangerous, racist and ignorant.

You frequently post garbage, but this is a whole truckload.

There is no "steady drip of Islamic influence"! That there is greater inclusiveness of the previously marginalised doesn't imply greater influence. Indeed, the reverse is true. Bringing them under the umbrella will bring them ever closer to us.

It certainly doesn't mean that increased radicalisation is "inevitable". The longer people live here, and are more exposed to us, our kindness, tolerance, humour, culture and TV, the less radicalised they will become.

The kind of divisive attitude you display is what will increase radicalisation. It will make people feel unwelcome and drive moderates into the arms of those who hate us. For such people exist, and we need everyone on point to help limit the damage they can cause. Especially those from the Muslim community. You are hindering the efforts at finding solutions.

The vast majority of our Muslim citizens are as peace loving as the rest of us. To believe we need to employ the same mentality with them as we used to defeat the Nazis is to demonstrate just how twisted your logic is.

We need to clearly understand that the enemy is the radicalised extremist, and not the Islamic faith. Fight the enemy with everything at our disposal, but avoid collateral damage to those who can help us.

Right wing loonies just love making comparisons to the nazis and Hitler, its like a hobby for them.

That raging imbecile Marjorie Taylor Green likened a mask mandate to jews being rounded up and put on trains. Mask mandate = holocaust. f***ing comedy.

Dog whistles, its just dog whistles.

Perhaps not being able to distinguish between the bloke running the local mechanic, the geezer at the restaurant, or the lady down at morrisons, who all are muslims, and an ISIS militant, is too hard for the likes of Hrolfy. Perhaps because it requires a subtle, nuanced understanding that not all people within a global religion are aligned on their lifestyles, desires and motivations, let alone the interpretation of the religion itself. They for sure are not all bloodthirsty extremists.

Alas Hrolf seems to hate all muslims, this is easier to rationalize in his mind if he believes all muslims are the same, or at least if he keeps telling himself that. I assume if he was run over by a bus (I dont wish it on him of course) and found himself waking up on a hospital bed, with a muslim doctor standing over him, he would refuse treatment and bleed out.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

‘Nuanced’! The word of choice of the dissemblers on the clown car that used to be the left. As Orwell said : “The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns as it were instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish spurting out ink.”
No posters on here have suggested that all muslims are 'bloodthirty extremists', some have suggested that those muslims who are bloodthirsty extremists, are indeed bloodthirsty extremists.

I am sure Maine will respond, but this made me laugh. His post didn't say that any "posters on here have suggested that all muslims are 'bloodthirty extremists"!

It addressed the fallacy of the thinking that underlies the approach taken by one poster. Accurately, in my opinion. Several nails were squarely hit.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Really?
"Perhaps not being able to distinguish between the bloke running the local mechanic, the geezer at the restaurant, or the lady down at morrisons, who all are muslims, and an ISIS militant, is too hard for the likes of Hrolfy."

Yes, really!

He said that Hrolf seems to hate all Muslims, and believes they are all the same. What that sameness is, wasn't mentioned.

The only mention of "bloodthirsty extremists" was when he expressed his own opinion that they all aren't!

Your sophistry bears out my previous Orwell quote.

Sophistry requires the use of false arguments.

Accusations of it demand reasoning, and not assertion.

What I posted is true. Whether you are able to recognise that is another matter.

The guy literally posts that Hrolf hates all Muslims, something he's never even come close to saying....a guy he doesn't personally know based upon his interpretation of forum posts.....and then asserts that it is true.

This in nonsense. You know full well that Hrolf would love Muslims to move in next door to him. Maybe 4 or 5 large families in fact to ensure a good mix on his street. Hospitable to a fault, he'd invite them over and they would all discuss the intricacies of their belief systems. There would be a black butler in the corner with a tray of nibbles. Very well treated; loose chains.

They throw around the 'hate' word because truth is actually the last reality they wish to deal with.
