Well its kind of a new era with new manager and a host of new younger players so why not go a bit radical with the kit. If the team perform well in it it will become a popular kit.

Then the black with the red and blue sash. I own a kit with the red and blue stripes and most people over here think it's a Barcelona shirt. This one is pretty good by me. I like the diagonal lines. I don't care for the blue and white 3rd kit this year. Too different and not really Palace (I know super old school). The white kit this year is also pretty good. At least with the home kit I won't be mistaken for supporting another club.

Red and blue diagonal stripes in a modern, stylish design. This would have been approved by the board, so to criticise the shirt is to criticise them. Sacrilege! What is amusing me is how so many on here last season were craving for change and modernisation of our football under Roy. Now we dare to produce a bold, modern and stylish shirt, folk want to return to a previous era. Oh well!
