I guess that since he's been stripped of his military duties, his beret is now in the second hand store.

His helicopter could be in Poundland and not get a buyer.

Apparently, the grand duke had a collection of 60 cuddly toys, and a picture of them all in a line, he kept them in a drawer and the picture on top. If the maids did not put them all on his bed, in same order as the picture, all hell broke out!Good for him-pesky maids taking the pizz out of his highness by not obeying orders!

Isnt Andrew single? He could marry again into money, pay off the goldbrick and live happily ever after. There's a few wealthy sheilas about, how about some suggestions?

His lawyers are really bad. They are now saying a few things, but digging a huge grave for their client's reputation :

1. The photo of Andrew, Giuffre and Maxwell is 'unproven' , so he can't comment.

He either knows he was there , or he wasn't. It's simple.

2. The friendship with Maxwell wasn't close.

There are many witness accounts of them staying in the same building at various worldwide locations (including Balmoral), across many years

3. Claims by Giuffre (formerly Roberts) are barred by the doctrine of consent.

In statutory rape claims, there can be no consent.

4. Andrew demands a trial by jury.

That is up the claimant to decide in civil trials in the US, apparently. And a jury trial has already been specified

This has got to end with a settlement £££, if only to spare the complete ineptitude of Andrews lawyers.

The BBC interview alone was must see. Imagine if this went to trial. Get the popcorn in. Can't see it happening though.

It's an interesting tactic. But what has he got to lose? His reputation is already in tatters, he has been effectively barred from being a Royal and so there ain't much else that can happen to him.

s*** or bust time. Plus it will force his accuser to justify her claims in a public court. All very well spinning stuff through a PR firm or statements from lawyers but being cross-examined by a hostile brief, that's a different ball game altogether.

And juries can be notoriously fickle about these matters. It might actually be Andrews saving grace.

You really think so M, it would be loaded against him.

He walks into trouble imo.

It would be quite the spectacle but he's so out of touch with the average person that if he put himself on the stand it might not go well. With that said Americans have always had a fascination with the Royals and in terms of what many of Epsteins pals have no doubt got up to, its fair to see he's the 'fall guy' and that might bring a degree of sympathy from some jurors. Pretty sure he'll just offer a huge payout but if this somehow does go to court, it's 'must see' territory.

And many on here will obviously return and apologise for their accusations being proven to be false! Baited breath......
