Middlands Eagle, why is it OK for you to be rude and attack people personally. It is disgracful behaviour. This is bullying an individual for the way they speak and attacking aggressively. Why are the mods not stepping in here. I totally agree with this. Willo should be allowed to express his views and opinions in ways which are natural to themselves. PLEASE let's get off Willo's back. And in any case, the main point Willo said, that wwe will not be signing Benrahma, seems to be true. He was not spreading false rumours

With the greatest of respect, I had the decency to provide a considered and respectful response whilst being somewhat regretful that I entered the debate. In the final analysis I am not someone who seeks to give the impression of any superiority and despite brickbats I always seek to respond with dignity and humility. I really believe that the debate should return to 'Nathaniel Clyne' and not be side-tracked by matters outside the parameters of the subject matter. Edited by Willo (12 Oct 2020 9.04am)

I believe we have to name our 25 man squad by Tuesday week (20th) so we should know by then whether or not Clyne will be added to our ranks. It may be very last minute if we do sign him depending on how his fitness has come on (and of course, whether or not he has demonstrated his worth). There's another U23 game on 19th so will be interesting to see whether he is picked for that one, if not already signed.

Returning to 'Nathaniel Clyne' the poor lad has had his injuries in recent seasons and never played a game last season. His last game was at the end of the 2018-19 season, playing for Bournemouth whom we defeated 5-3 at Selhurst Park. The point I have raised is that we lost our first-choice right-back in AWB leaving Ward as the only recognised player in that position yet we purchased Ferguson who had a long term injury and we have been entertaining Clyne who has also had his injury woes. For the avoidance of doubt I know someone who has met Willo and he doesn't speak in Manglish normally reserving it for his online personnas of Willo here and Trolley on the BBS

Edited by Willo (12 Oct 2020 9.25am) Maybe we are not signing Clyne after all? I know nothing about Schelotto. Maybe it's just click bait, or maybe it hasn't been possible to sort out personal terms with Clyne or there have been form and fitness issues?

Wasn't he the bloke, last season(?) that got sent off whilst a sub against us for having a row with, i think, Wilf?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

BBS seem to think Clyne isn't going to happen so this guy is the backup to the backup. I am NOT ITK.

Apropos Trolley, I have answered all the charges numerous times so I have no need to be a gramophone stuck in the groove. Perhaps in the interests of HOL,the debate can return to the subject matter and not gallivant down the path of high-grade ordnance being dropped by those who view me as 'Persona non grata' and their 'Bete Noire'.

I recall Clyne who had a real desire to make foraging runs forward and attack but he was also a good one-on-one defender. His marking skills were impressive. This however is my observation from quite a few years ago.
