Sorloth has no positioning sense at all in their box.

So ineffectual I’m not even sure he’s Championship level!

You wouldn’t even know he was on the pitch, which against ten men says an awful lot. Just woeful...

As bad as we played the turning points were the two quite appalling refereeing decisions. How you could miss the fact that McArthur clearly played the ball and that Murray kicked the ball out is beyond me, and the consequences of those decisions were just devastating.

An absolutely abysmal display from Kevin Friend that cost us the points even more so than our abject performance.

On the plus side, statistics show we won the second half.

Not sure what it is yet, but there’ll probably be a silver lining.

Sorry - his options are so limited and Brighton had four days with a big powerful group and better balanced squad who knew what our starting eleven would be. Roy is doing the job with one arm tied behind his back by our cheap Chairman and his his cheap DOF.

NP. That's a completely fair point but I think the mark of a good manager is being able to bring the best out of what you're stuck with, it's not just the lack of goals, it's our overall performance which just isn't consistent at all and his lack of reaction when things arenpt going our way. I can't help feeling something's going wrong where Roy's concerned these days but f*** knows who could replace him tbh, I would love to be wrong obviously, this is just my opinion.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

The ref cost us that game.
A joke penalty followed by booking Tomkins for nothing which stopped him fouling to prevent the third goal.

The second goal scored by a sub as a result of the sending off.

Then the c*** even tried his best to put Milo off before he scored the penalty.

We are garbage in front of goal but with the worst refereeing you will ever see, what chance do you have?

Townsend was the only one who really bust a lung tonight. Still s*** performance but I didn't see anyone else getting their head down and getting on with the job like he was.

I'm livid with that gutless performance. I do not want to hear anymore utter tripe from Hodgson about how well the strikers are doing and we have the numbers this season as opposed to last. I know its not the only reason we were so poor but we HAVE to get at least one striker in January. Our strikers are absolutely hopeless. Burnley papered over the cracks. 3-1 to 10 men and we did not even have a sniff. Pathetic Palace

He needs specialist coaching for the mental side of the game if he wants to fulfil his potential. So easy to wind him up, it's like watching a child

How bad must ayew be, when schlupp is put on ahead of him when we need a goal.
Got the impression we thought we just needed to turn up to win. Only one side showed any sort of passion or pride. Sadly it wasn't palace.

I listened on Radio London, of course we were s***e, but we may have left it all on the pitch v Burnley, hangover after the party, unnacceptable you may say. but Luka and Tompkins play well usually and they play for the shirt, tho Luka has been inconsistent this season, it happens, and we've had a good run v the weed, seems the penalty turned it, but their 2nd and 3rd were gifts apparently, so we should up the effort and cut out the mistakes v spam, Roy needs to make changes on that performance, but can he squad wise?

Jesus what a s***show, everyone's to blame for that, Brighton playing better than us, Roy's crap tactics, Palace's awful performance and someone that should never be allowed to wear a ref's shirt ever again.

Agree with all of that. Thought all 11 were poor tonight and as much as I enjoyed Saturday’s performance to many fans went overboard about it. We aren’t good enough to stay up with such a lightweight squad. Tactics were terrible tonight and Hodgson had no idea how to change it around :-(

An embarrassingly poor performance against a very limited side
