No because he's still young, has a lot of good attributes and is versatile. If an exchange was to happen then we'd at least have one option immediately available to compete for the position. We would also then not be held completely to ransom by teams knowing we have no right back but have 50m in the bank for example. Those are my reasons. Obviously I'd rather AWB goes nowhere though.

If Zaha is definitely gone, then keep AWB for another season and groom a proper replacement. No. It sends out a signal to other players that we are still not a serious club. Money is secondary.

Yes I am . He's not perfect but considering his age and verstility, with the right coaching I think he'd be a solid purchase with good upside. Sane said he was the best defender he played against during that season he was with us. Yes granted he didn't have a great season at Fulham last year but I think any defender would have struggled in that team. He is not good enough. No United rejects thanks.

AWB is a great defender, almost shut-down on the right, but he's mediocre going forward. 50mm is a great price for him and I'd snap it up. We can do some really nice transfer business for that price, maybe get 2-3 solid players from international clubs.

It's that scary thing of having to trust how we'd spend the £££. And I don't. I'm not as much of a fan of AWB as others are, though. I think his passing is only ok and I have a real hunch he'll struggle more defensively next season.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

He didnt get forward much until the last few games, but when he does, he looks like Wilf. I think hes been told to stay back and be careful about venturing forward.

We don't sell that many players and there is no never ending pit of money... £50m for a lad who cost us nothing and has only played a season and a half is to good to resist in my opinion.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

If we can get 50 million this summer, it could at least give us the opportunity to say to wilf we cqn invest around 60-70 million for a europa push, stay with us. If not, still sell him, sell zaha and overhaul the squad with 100 million.

Not for sale should be the position - we know AWB contributed to our points total in the 2018/2019 Season - assume that he contributes as one of three (with Sakho and Zaha) to a 20% improvement in 2019/2020 and we 0could be in Europe in 2020/2021.

His attacking play is well and truly developing. He is very clever at finding space always, happy to work in small areas, can dribble....the last bit would make him a 'complete' modern day full back. I am 'highly' awaiting his first goal....literally
