BUT there are stats (that aren't simply focused on goals & assists) which show this player can pass, tackle and shoot. Take a look at his 2018 video and he looks to me to have a slide rule pass, fantastic ball control, an amazing burst of pace, the ability to change direction in an instant and to keep possession when under pressure PLUS the determination to challenge hard to regain possession. This guy may be a gamble but he's a huge prospect.

I read about his Schalke situation a few months back and moaned to myself "why don't we go in for players like this?" And now that we have I am apprehensive that we're permanently signing this season's Renato Sanchez.

Exciting stuff though, could be the perfect replacement for Cabaye.
