Great effort but the first Utd goal was the killer. Dont know what Tomkins was doing. Hennessy looks lost every time there's a high ball into the box. No presence. Maybe we should play the Russian in goal and Benteke at centre-half. Wouldn't be the first centre forward to move there and be a success.

Too gutted to comment except to say well done lads. We can stay up with the spirit we’re showing.

Seriously!? Schlupp's quick thinking was responsible for PVA's goal. Not Beneteke winning it for ffs, how far do you want to rewind the game to credit him?

Glad he was stood on the line and cleared the ball. Genuinely saved us there.

Still clocked up another 90 mins without a goal, tho didn't he?

Just back fromthe game and absolutely gutted. Amazing effort by the whole team.
I cant stand benteke, but I'll admit he had a decent game tonight. Missed another very good chance though (the one before the wonder save). But what realky winds me up about him is how for someone his size he gets pushed off the ball so easily.

Still feel miffed but on the plus side discovered that bet 365 had paid me out early due to the 2/0 score line putting it on Palace to beat Chelsea one a lot last year

Hennessy was a joke tonight. And for me, the game changed when Tomkins thought it was a good idea to stand 5 yards behind the defensive line to pay them onside

Hennessy had been doing well lately, always been shaky at crosses but he was awful tonite ,but 2 goals was defence Tompkins as senior should not have not got himself caught and we should have been more staggered when PVA was keeping lukaku at bay

Seem to remember him bullying Ward off the ball and keeping it to score for Villa, so he has it in his locker. Just needs somebody to work with him in training.

Football can be bloody brutal at times! One 90th minute loss is bad... Two in a row... That's just not fair.

Mistake from Roy tonight. IMO should have made the same sub just 10mins earlier before the equaliser - it was so clear a change was needed. We were getting overrun in the middle and needed 5 in there just to try and stop the flow. A sub would at least have temporarily stopped United's momentum. I think we still would have conceded but just the one... Probably still in the 90th.

Absolutely gutting for the players but a lot of positives to take. Quite a few of the lads 100% did not deserve to be on the losing side. Bissaka and PVA in particular.

Although I didn't expect to be picking up points in these games it's so tough to be coming so close. It's leaving little to no room for error in our 'winnable' fixtures.

But taking the positives and praying that the likes of Sakho, Zaha and RLC could be back for the final 6 games I'm still optimistic.

Unlucky lads.

There were a few high balls he should have been claiming.

...and that's just tin hat brigade nonsense, paranoid crap, a load of old w***, take your pick. We had just as many borderline decisions go our way (one of them led to a goal), they just outplayed us in the second half and we let a goal in at the end of the match like we always do, it's our speciality, at least since Pardew, if not before, we played an excellent match, though, don't get me wrong but we just lost concentration near the end and that's probably more down to not having the subs. It's funny that I never see anyone complain about the refs when a decision goes our way, I'm not a Willo "the refs are always right" type of guy, they get s*** wrong all the time, if they got everything right we'd be just as f***ed but it all evens out in the end.

Hennessey can’t command his 6 yard box & Bentekecant score.
Very basic football traits if you play in those positions. Drop Benteke &!play Sorloth in his lace; would not have lost tonight as Sorloth would have chard the ball etc not given them a free throw in from which they score the winner. Nothing more to say on Hennessey as it’s too late, at least we have a chance if we act re centre lazy disobedience non scoring Cnut
