Hand on heart, you really really believe he's worse than Soares, worse than Calvin Andrew, worse than Trevor Aylott, worse than Akinbiyi, worse than that bambi we got from Arsenal whose name escapes me, worse than Adebayor? I think you're referring to Yaya Sonogo. One of the most clueless players I have ever seen.

It’s not like he’s scored goals anywhere he’s played. That Jan we signed 3 players all completely useless, and tbh summers signings aren’t setting the world alight.

i feel that it is to early in his palace career to make a judgement. we just dont play to the strenghts of a large lone striker. with this in mind, can we really judge him? if he starts in a full strenght 442 i could see him being better than ayew and probably on a par with wickham. he is only a kid still at 22,

After Sunday I thought he might be finding his way but nobody who produces s***e like last night more than once in a blue moon is going anywhere. I would rather have had Bumfluff, and I've never said that before.

A fully fit Wickham is 10x the player Sorloth is. Sorloth is not good enough at this level. If we're going to keep him, then send him out on loan in January/next summer to a League One/Two club & buy a decent striker.

A different era I know but Sorloth reminds me of the Gareth Taylor purchase which was quite a lot of money in those days for somebody we all hoped would do the business. Taylor was a young Welsh international and there are a few similarities with our young Norwegian international. Unfortunately, Taylor was a spectacular failure and I fear Sorloth will be the same. I don't remember seeing Taylor score for us. I think his only goal was Port Vale away but I was not there. Sorloth needs to score in the league soon or it may be the end.

Should of bought Marcus Stewart instead from Bristol Rovers. Taylor was a converted striker and linked up well with Stewart but as you say failed to impress here. 1 goal in 20, about 1 in 4 at next club Sheff U. Citeh obviously think he can do something off the pitch now as he is a coach there for the u16's. Maybe he can send one of the better kids here as a goodwill gesture ?

Indeed Taylor hardly covered himself in glory whilst with us. He actually started off as a central defender but due to injuries Bristol Rovers played him up front and that is where he stayed. The 10 goals in 19 games for his Danish club is a good return, but there is a huge difference between the Premiership and the Danish league. Some might argue that he has not had much full game playing time but in my opinion he is not a game changing striker or player that can turn a game on its head He is young at 22, but he has now has had time to adapt to English football. Whenever I have seen him play he always seems out of position and two places off the speed of the game.

The we forked out close to 10 mil for him. Meanwhile Genoa signed Piatek for 4 million euros and he has scored a goal a game.
