Yep - there was a point near the end there where he had two players free on his left to pass to and opted to put his head down run the other way and lost it.

Not great at all but it's a point.... Most important thing is that we turn over Newcastle on Sunday. This is gonna be a tough few months and we badly need some reinforcements, which if I'm honest is unlikely now. I still think we will stay up though.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

A good point in the end. We were not at our most creative which allowed the weakened Spammers to get away with a point. They did a good job on Wilf but our crossing needs to improve . We got down the flanks numerous times but the balls in were totally ineffective.

They have loads of injuries they are missing almost all their top players. (all West Ham fans i spoke to even stated they expected Palace to win this) Mario is new to the league

Any away point is a good result, wouldn't have taken it if offered by kickoff. Roy will be happy considering the injury situation at the club. Looking forward to 3 points on Sunday.

I may be completely wrong here but suspect you didn’t watch the game from that assessment. It was the tappiest of tap ins with his head (I could have scored it) and he was dreadful throughout. Not much positive to take from Bentekes outing today. If I was looking for a silver lining it’d be that we got a point away from home despite Wilf looking utter cack.
