I've been involved with crypto for a few years now so hardly something new.
I've had a reasonable amount of success day/swing trading.

As for house
We have been approved for a mortgage, we have paid a deposit on a 5 bed house costing 75k euro in the best location we could of ever hoped for & pending any last minute disasters im driving across Europe with my worldly belongings at the end of September to get the place ready for guests in December.

For anyone that chucked me a bit of cash I was going to contact them & sort something out when the place is up & running.

As for throwing more money at crypto I didn't in the end although I don't really gives a monkeys if you believe me or not.

Also investing in crypto isn't a gamble.

Anyway, we have all been losing for umpteen decades already.
Due to being forced to trade with a continually devaluing 'fiat currency' and the inherent inflation associated, we are all far far poorer than those we've followed.
Crypto-currencies aim to break the centralised cartels that 1. Nobody voted for (who in their right mind would!) and 2. Continually rob us........and give the world a de-centralised financial system which will benefit every-single one of us, not just the 1%.

Still a good time to buy.

The 'centralised cartels' run the financial system. So if this is the case, why do you think they would allow crypto currencies to take over?

Being 'de-centralised' doesn't mean they will get mainstream exposure.

The larger they get the more sidelined they will be.

The larger they get the less profitable they will be because the 'cartels' will ensure that happens. It's already happening.

If automation happens to a significant extent and the traditional job dynamic changes....that will alter society far more.....perhaps that will enable them far more.
