I wasn’t digging out people that live miles away, I lived in TEnerife for a couple of years. It was a miserable poster to say that we probably wasn’t watching on good feeds? What about the 22,000 actual real supporters that go to the games. Say what you want. If you’ve been to 5000 games , but now watch it in the tele from across the other side of the world. You’re not the same fan as a current season ticket holder.

Hi to all fellow Palace fans. This is the most unusual place I have logged in to keep tabs on a game. I am 40,000 ft over the Pacific flying to Auckland from Los Angeles. Air New Zealand are trialing WiFi, for free, so why not. Fingers crossed I have a big smile to land. An update on the above. It got to injury time and still at 1-1 when the plane started it's descent and we were asked to turn off all electrical devices. I was following on here and on the BBC live text on a tablet. I tried switching to my iPhone as it's less obvious but they cut the service below 10,000 ft. Don't blame them as safety must come first but still bloody frustrating. The last BBC text I saw was the one which said we needed to hang on as Stoke were pressing for the winner. So as soon as we landed and were cleared to use our phones I found the local service and checked hoping we had indeed hung on. Bingo!!! So I landed with a frown but deplaned with a grin. The first time ever that I have been cross that a plane was early! We arrived 30 mins ahead of schedule and to add insult to injury my car hire place wasn't open for an hour after I landed so I was just sitting around. Still with grin of course.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Schlupp' by Midlands Eagle I thought Schlupp was solid today? I was extremely happy when sakho put that in. Why did the defenders let shaqiri work to his left foot?? admittedly i don't know shi$ about the game but a blind man can see he has nothing to offer with his right foot and then when he is beating you knock that midget down. Can't wait to see the palace kick the shi$ out of brighton Tuesday. they did look decent against Man u...

Livin' far away may make us even bigger fans! Thai TV show ALL matches from PL live. Even if we're not havin' a tea at Sainsbury's be4 kick-off home games, it doesn't mean we should not be allowed to have say on Palace matters. And I actually meet other Eagles in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand....we talk & think & have opinions as well.

I'm in Chiang Mai right now. Found a bar that advertised they were showing the match on a certain screen WITH sound. I turned up 10mins before kick-off and they're showing the rugby. I asked about the palace game and they said they were watching the rugby. What a dump and a rude owner, some Aussie guy. All the other bars I tried that were showing PL weren't showing the palace game, they were all showing manu v Brighton. Edited by europalace (26 Nov 2017 4.11am)

what does going to the ground have to do with watching a quality feed of the game nothing the same with being a real fan people that pay for tv packages to watch games are no less fans they in fact are helping the club even more tv money is far higher payout then ticket sales. when people try to make out only real fans go to games just shows they are t**ts being a supporter has nothing to do with attending games that is almost the same as saying to some one who doesn't buy the shirt every year they are not real fan.
