[Link] : Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "What I've learned about my squad over last few games is that I've seen three good performances, three gutsy performances where people have showed they want to fight for the cause and not give up. They've played some good football at times too.

"If keep ourselves within touching distance I believe we are going to get better and better. We have an advantage here because we have a fantastic crowd.

"It is very rare that, when you're into the 95th or 96th minute, hardly anyone has left their seat when you're losing. That's Selhurst Park, that's our fans and I'm glad they've gone home with a point in their pocket."

On Hammers keeper Joe Hart's performance: "He was outstanding. If he hadn't played we would have scored more. The two we did score he had no chance with."

Some positives from today given that we got a point unlike last season vs. West Ham ; and we came back from 0-2 down showing fightback of the kind not seen in first batch of games.

We so miss not having a recognised striker but still should've got all three points - how close can one get with hitting the bar and then off the line? (If Wickham is not up to match standard by January then his future will surely need needs to be reviewed then given that he has spent more time injured than on the field.)

It's largely a case of not conceding in the way that we have done so and converting golden chances of the type that just haven't gone in within recent weeks.

One thing for sure was just what fabulous support Palace got from the faithful fans at Selhurst today. Hugely important to galvanise a beleaguered team who were 0-2 down.

Back from the game.
Deserved to win but grateful for a draw with virtually the last kick of the game.
Yes, Wet Spam were not good and got away with a fair bit when the goal frame saved them twice. Hart was by far their best player. They did punish us for errors.
I'm pleased with the effort of the team to never give up with some good football.
Glad I'm not an "Irons" fan ......their players drop to their knees at the slightest contact.
Ref: However poor he was in the game, he gave the pen and actually played a reasonable amount of extra time.
I was in the Holmesdale so wasn't sure if we should of had a pen for Wilf 1st half though the people near me said it was a "cert".Fans stayed to clap our team off. Was a lovely feeling!

Also just back and agree with you.
Thought our defending for their two goals was awful but they never deserved a 2-0 lead.
We played to the end and deserved our draw.
9 shots on target so we know Hart played well.
Ref was biased their way but I can't comment on the Wilf penalty as wasn't close enough and haven't seen it yet.
That will have boosted confidence but we cannot keep dropping points against teams around us.
4 games against lower table teams and we have 1 point from them - Chelsea was the bonus ball!
Still - we are in with a shout so the fight goes on!

If we have a decent chance of survival in January then we should be signing a striker regardless. If we don't then don't bother. Let Roy and/or Freedman decide.

Good to grab a point, but unlucky in many other ways.

Why can't we play like we did in the second half all the time.? You could hear the atmosphere had changed at Selhurst on the radio comms for the 2nd half. Everyone was up for it.

Keep pugging away and the results will come.
Plus the January transfer window

I disengage, I turn the page.

WHU were poor but they should have won but for a crazy decision not to keep the ball in the corner, having said that they had a lot of luck and we deserved our point.

Jules did not have a blinder.

He could and should have saved both goals.
