Except Parish is worse at selling players than hiring managers. How long have we had completely dead wood sitting around. We couldnt even get a fee for Joe Ledley. I dont think he is capable of properly negotiating player sales. Maybe the Doog can ship some of these deadbeats out the door. Or maybe he has trouble selling players because they are so sh*t that hardly anyone wants to buy them. You mention Ledley, he was out of contract last summer so had to go on a free and wouldn't have gone in the previous window because he hadn't played much and when he did he was poor, not exactly a good advert

At one point in the second half, Hennessy caught the ball and afterwards, fans started chanting the Speroni song and then I heard chants of "you're f*cking sh*t", however, I am not sure if that was our fans towards him or City fans towards us, anyone know which set of fans it was? If it was our fans, they should hang their heads in shame

Hi, Bristol City fan again. Looks to me like your in a similar funk to the one we were in last season. You bossed the 1st half and didn't deserve to be behind. But as soon as you did the heads dropped and it was like we were playing a different side. Very nice of you to come on here to try and cheer us up BUT there's no escaping the fact we are $hite!

One worry for me - can Loftus-Cheek and Fosu-Mensah be recalled in January if their parent club feels we are not benefitting their player?

Defensive Errors 4 Palace 1. Going to Ashton Gate I thought we might lift us out of the grave over recent games there but normal service was resumed last night. One positive due to half term I don't have to see my workmates until Mon and if we get something Sat can ease the pain a little.

That was a strange game. For 30 minutes we were absolute class, knocking the ball around, short passes that were incisive and caused all kinds of problems. Chongy and RLC especially looked good but Puncheon was hustling well, Riedewald even looked ok, and Sako and Kaikai's movement was excellent. Smashed the bar, keeper made a couple of good saves, we scored, away end bouncing and not a peep out of Bristol City either their fans or their players. Then, suddenly, it all changed. PvA's gift, one City player holding off all our defence to score while we couldn't clear a throw and the confidence vanishes. Sudddenly it's all them. They have two cracking strikes, one barely believable and it's 4-1. Everyone vanishes. RLC completely absent, Chongy had to go off after one of several unpunished fouls. The home fans found their voice and all our ironic songs start, the only one worth repeating being 'you're nothing special, we lose every week' which made me smile. The incredible thing was the turnaround. I was genuinely thinking at the half hour mark that we'd get a couple more and give the youngsters some time in the second half. Unbelievable.
