No it isn't because today for the first time the defence in front of the goalie was good unlike before. I'm sure WH will be back. Also did we keep a clean sheet?

You people are just mental, ostriches with your heads in the sand, if we could swap WH for the greatest keeper in the world (whoever the f*** that is), money no object, you wouldn't have it would you?

Anyway everyone did great today, it was beautiful to watch and I'm a happy bunny so I'm not letting the Hennessey Mafia get me down.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

It's interesting that since Roy has come in, and had a while to work with the players, the defence looks more secure. It's amazing what a manager with some defensive nous can do in organising a side (also having the ManGod Sakho back in and settled helps).

Plus didn't take Roy long to realise puncheon needed a rest.

He's not talking rubbish. Roy has had more time to work with the defence and it showed.

Did Jules do well? I thought so. Will Wayne be back for the next match? I honestly don't know but I'm a great believer in playing players who played well in the next match and I though Jules did.

Perhaps you'll say the same if he has a bad match or two and Wayne should then go back in goal? Somehow I doubt it which is why your views can never be seen as objective in this matter.

Don't be so fecking stupid, if we could sign the world's best keeper I would be happy. What pisses me off is how WH is blamed by the likes of you for EVERY
goal we concede.

Well then, what's your problem for blaming him when he's at fault? I've complimented him just as much as I've criticised him, he's a keeper, that's what happens with keepers, comes with the territory, I'm sure he's used to it and doesn't need you lot standing up for him, yet you seem to think I blame him for every goal against us which is patently untrue and as I said, mental.

[Link] : Julian Speroni's return to Premier League action was one that he described as amazing as he once again took part in a home victory against Chelsea.

In 2013/14 season he starred in the 1-0 victory against our west London neighbours and today was handed the chance by Roy Hodgson to be involved once again.

A calf injury sustained by Wayne Hennessey on international duty gave Speroni an opportunity to pull on the Eagles number one jersey.

"It was just an amazing day and what a performance from everyone, it was a great team performance and all did our jobs so well to get such a good result in the end.

"It is so important that you play as team and pull together to get the result, it is about hard work.

"I have been missing playing and especially taking part in games here at Selhurst with such a great atmosphere. I prepare every day in training to be ready to play and be available for the next game and hopefully I will get the chance to play the next game but I will wait and see."

So was the defence in the Wales team but "Flapper" still let one in. Todays goal was not Jules's fault and the team felt secure with him behind them unlike when "Flapper" is behind them and they go to pieces.
Todays result was fantastic and Jules was in goal!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I cant believe that after such a great win people have nothing better to do than go on about Wayne Hennessey.
For my part I have the greatest respect for Roy. I don't know what he and Ray Lewington have done over the last 2 weeks, but to come out against Chelsea and go at it with some passion and confidence was unbelievable. Wilfred and Andros were absolutely fantastic. I can wait until next week. One of the lucky 1500 and I sense another win.

I wonder if you will criticise Jules as much as you do Wayne if he makes errors? Somehow I doubt it.
