So rioting is acceptable if you don't agree with a government policy? So the Notting Hill riots were ok because some people didn't agree with the immigration policy? I said blatantly, punishingly unfair. The poll tax was an equal amount per person, but never fair. If it was it would've been brought back or be in use in western democracies. If it wasn't for the riots it may have been punishingly unfair for quite a while.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

If not then an iniquitous tax would've remained. Common sense prevailed from the reaction. There are some occasions when it's the right thing to do, usually because the long term government get carried away.

It's culturally mono outside of its immigrant areas and the problems of immigration have already started social cohesion problems....which are obviously just going to increase. Really? And there was me thinking about 30 percent of Swedes were from immigrant families.

Edited by Bert the Head (13 Oct 2017 11.38pm) So what you're saying is that it's only fair the population of Britain get blown up by Islamic terrorists because Britain and the US have bombed countries in the Middle East? So there is no case for holding an anti-terrorism march? You really are more warped than I thought! Have you ever thought that soldiers fighting terrorists in Afghanistan keeps them in that region and makes the UK safer? Edited by Penge Eagle (14 Oct 2017 8.27am)

A light hearted look at what a debate might sound like between some members of the HOL and a jihadist HOL: Why did you bomb innocent civilians last week?

And 99% of Muslims don't even follow Wahhabism and a small amount of that 1% that do have the extremist version as their creed. So 'yeah', probably not true muslims.
