Blimey grew up im Thornton Heath.

It's a real s*it hole now.

It wasn't particularly nice area when my mum was growing up. Granted it wasn't as bad. That whole area though lost 'its soul' and 'identity' when the industry in the area left - Go back to even my parents era, and there was a lot of employment in the area, and a lot of thriving small businesses that built on the money coming in from those jobs.

Most of my extended family lived in Thornton Heath. Always a bit of a tough area, but ordinary hard working, working class people, who helped each other out. Horrible now.

This is st Paul's road (opposite parchmore Methodist church)

Place really is going down the pan. It's that bad when I hear it mentioned in relation to the latest crime I barely bat an eyelid anymore. Neither does my poor mum who's stuck living there and won't go out after dark due to the shootings and stabbings going on almost literally on the woman's doorstep!

She's expected to feel enriched and vibrant about it - and to 'celebrate' it.

My parents were living in Thornton Heath (London Road) when I was born in 1952. I know people living in Colliers Water Lane.

Fair to say that TH is not the most salubrious area and a far cry from bygone days.

These reports really wind me up.

They are scooters not mopeds as the bikes don't have pedals.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Why this paedo crap again.

I don't particularly agree with what he said but what he was saying was complex and was taken completely out of context by many just looking to attack him.

I don't agree with Milo on quite a few things. I don't go round commenting on everything. If people bring it up then it gets discussed.

Nick, just reply to others please.

I have not communicated with Gusset since June 2016 on these boards, other than a PM wishing him & his family a happy Christmas. I genuinely meant that. Also sent it to Michael.

However, he still try's to bait me. Constantly making out that I am a misogynist because of a joke I made on the BBS. He laughs at Jamie's jokes about killing prossers with hammers but castigates me for a joke between me and another poster on the BBS he felt compelled him to 'call me out on' but doesn't appear to call Jamie out about far more serious s*** that, if it were real, would be seriously disturbing. Therefore, we can only think he is acting on impulse to further his agenda.

Therefore, I would advise, don't rationalise. There is no middle ground. Ignore and move on.

You do your fair bit of complaining about how you are treated on here, Michael.

I have no victim mentality. I just think that Gusset is a hypocrite and is a WUM.
