Personal terms agreed but Liverpool holding out for their full agreement asking price,£30m. Some Liverpool fans seem shocked that we are prepared to pay anything near this figure, when a player of the quality of Torres, is apparently available for free!!

There was noise that He had Agreed personal terms "in principle" Ultimately if hes a 25-30Mil Striker then we need to suck it up and spend on those extra wages, as thats what 25-30mil strikers will be wanting, if we are not prepared to pay then we need to move on quickly.

Also remember players Agents leak stories and use the press to garner more interest or better contracts, this isnt really unusual.

Benteke is very inconsistent. Is he really worth £25m ? I think Bony for say £15-20m from Man City would be a good buy if he got regular first team football and therefore got his confidence back.
