Not really sure what that means....£8m on an 18 year old is more acceptable ? yes he is a proved goal machine he scored 2 of his 4 goals against the mighty tranmere rovers who are 2nd to bottom of league 2 ,£70,000 a week on 3year contract for a player who will be 30 in summer , mark lawencson of the bcc fame also spoke highly of him as well saying he looks like the sort of player that will 1 goal in about 20 chances ,but what does he know

From what I've seen, I still think this would be a good signing, it's a risk, but one that we might have to take in order to stay in the league. Like Sunderland signing Defoe, although I don't think it's as risky as that. If it pays off, there's a return of £70m minimum. Will Swansea sell? Yes, if it's true that they are after Papa Cisse and there's a Summer release clause of £7m then why not take £8m now?

Travelling to Lyon to to watch him play might make your opinion more rounded but doesn't mean it is right either. And I happen to think he would be a good signing. She has watched him play 4 times on TV and apparently has family who have watched him more regularly. That seems a pretty good place to at least start judging. I haven't seen every minute played by every player we are linked with but I am still entitled to an opinion on whether they would represent a good investment/signing. Like I said, I think Gomis would be a good signing, but that isn't based on much more than her basis - having watched him on tv a few times, my brother-in-law being a season ticket holder at the Liberty, and reviews from his time in Lyon.
