Yes, but it can take years for that to happen, they could speed it up and get those granted permission to stay working, in the NHS, and not playing pool all day! The system does take too long I agree but not all down to Government/Public Sector incompetence I’m afraid CP.

They are responding to a changing environment. The role of the Nurse has changed and many of the more menial tasks have been delegated to Health Care Assistants, whilst the Nurses take on roles previously handled by doctors. Jobs for lesser skilled people are still available and can be started without any previous experience, training being given on the job. Should they be good enough, and want to progress, there are routes to become Nurses whilst still working, via apprenticeships etc.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
