If I was Palace I'd add a condition of the sale of Bolasie that Everton don't even think about trying to replace Lukaku with Benteke.

The thing is,he can actually be choosy. As we are seeing, strikers more than any other position have choices. He has been with Aston Villa, and escaped them before they went down. Maybe he is viewing us in the same light? I would offer for him and Bony, and hope that one of them bites. And maybe have feelers out for one or more a rung down, such as Slimani.

There are no 'big clubs' in for him though; I hardly think Everton are a big club but I suppose he could stay in Liverpool if he really likes it there. Someone has to.

Does anyone know when he is likely to sign (if he's going to sign)? I.e. whether he will be able to play on Saturday against West Brom?

He may have had a subs appearance in a Liverpool friendly but no way am I looking up their stuff to find out. In other words - he is somewhere between the fitness of Sako and Bolasie.
