I’m yet to see or hear anyone in power or authority or even close to it say we should adopt herd immunity now. Apart from a few back bench Tories with probably 200 acres and a small castle I’ve only heard of people far removed from decision making suggest it. I even heard economists say we must get through the lockdown everyone following day rules and advice and not their own. I’ve recently heard officials and commentators say the only country we can be compared to is Germany, and they’ve achieved their results with testing that we don’t have yet and imo won’t be near the 100,000 a day at the end of April is it? We probably wouldn’t get there by end of May either.

Priti Patel is clearly a closet dominatrix, and if she's not she damn well should be, she'd be lethal with a strap on, ask the civil service.

Aldi is giving all its workers a 10% pay rise backdated to march 9th for all hours worked. Some reward for their efforts and situation. I think Amazon have done similar both globally.

When they gets going, you have the problem of the debt to deal with and a decade or so of inflation will be the only way of taking the sting out of it. A very different form of economics, and politics, is about to become a reality. How that pans out...still far to early to tell. Not quite. The same economic policy of printing money from thin-air (if we do it it's called counter-fitting) will continue as it has since the end of Bretton-Woods in 1971 and the political elite will, as ever, toe the line. The biggest change going forward will be social.

Bezos, along with many many global other CEO's, sold a ton of shares in their own companies 'just', and i mean 'just', prior to the markets tanking. Perfect timing or a lucky fluke?

Accepting is different to knowing. If the acceptance is with the knowing does that make 99% of us stupid or conformist.
