Our club would have hoped that he could replicate some form and he initially did but sadly injury and the fear of it recurring appears to be the final straw for him.

Sorry but don’t wear this one....the bloke puts zero effort into his game and that’s nothing to do with confidence or a fear of a recurrence. If he is either in the starting line up or as a sub then he is deemed fit by definition. The guy also has a major attitude problem.
