Todays first download is a set by Genesis that was recorded in 1975 on the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Tour. This is in superb quality and is a remastered soundboard - remastered by PRRP (Progressive Rock Remastering Project) - and it sounds great. There are only a couple of good quality bootlegs available from this tour - this is fantastic, the band play the whole of LLDOB and finish with the classic "The Musical Box" - if you like Genesis - you will want this one.... Todays second download is a set by Styx that was recorded at Winterland, San Francisco in 1976. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by the band. I've posted a few boots by Styx in the past - this is another cracking set. This was recorded on the first time the band played Winterland - they've played it many times since and I've previously posted one of their Winterland shows. This band rock big time and this boot is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted, and I don't really know anything about them. They band are called Player - they come from Los Angeles, and they were mainly active in the 1970's'. They had a US #1 single with their song "Baby Come Back" in 1976 and they released 3 albums. The band split up in 1982, reformed in 1995 until 2003 - split up again, reformed again in 2008 and are still going. In their early days they were invited to tour with Eric Clapton and eventually headlined their own shows... I don't remember this band... maybe you will!
