Personally I don't think this would happen as he will never be loved at another club the way he is here and surely he wouldn't risk destroying his legacy? Also, if he stays and does sulk I'm pretty sure Luka and Sakho would be having words! I love Wilf but I just get the feeling if he went to Arsenal their fans would just judge him against Iwobi and if he didn't prove himself significantly better straight away they would dismiss him and the way he is he might not recover. This to me is his his biggest weakness but also one of his biggest strengths. If things don't go his way he can disappear, but equally if he gets a sense of injustice he can turn into a bloody superhero. That heart on sleeve style is admirable as it is frustrating. I'm not sure a big club will put up with him disappearing if he moves for a large fee. Whatever happens I just hope this doesn't destabilise our pre-season planning. Hopefully the club and the player are in contact and we can resolve this quickly.

Given how Jenkinson did in that 45 minutes against Zaha at the Emirates, I dread to think of the state of him after training against Zaha every day. They probably want him out for his own safety. He'd be our second choice right back at best.

FFS how embarrassing for a BIG club. They have been trying to get rid of Jenkinson for ages. Reason is he may not be up to it.

£60 million plus Jenkinson and a.n.other ... but 2 players have to come our way or no deal IMO. Or £70 million + Jenkinson ... We won't get 80 million off anyone for him. Sad but true ... Jenkinson a good attacking right back who chips in with a few goals. As long as we don't take Mustafe ad the other player as his a donkey.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Selling Zaha would mean getting less than he is actually worth because of the sell on clause. Basically, as I have said many times, Wilf is worth more to us than money and I would, therefore, make him honor his contract irrespective of any monetary loss to the club. It's like buying a house. Your home might have become worth 10 times what you paid for it but any similar house you might want to move to will cost the same. Therefore the money you made is irrelevant. The difference here is that similar houses are not available to you, even with all that profit. If Zaha and his brother try some Berahino nonsense then I would make him train with the girls team and let him see what that does for his career. Under no circumstances would I now sell him to Arsenal.

First of all, I had in my mind the season just gone would probably be Zaha's last for us. He is now far too good for a club of our level, although we can match the wages he desires in a certain capacity. I will be gutted to see him leave, but he has stayed long enough and wants to move on to bigger and better things. I wouldn't hold any grudge for him or AWB. Losing Wilf & AWB is a disaster, but we will and should be rewarded heavily in a financial sense. Should Arsenal stump £55M with £15-20M in add ons we should look at it and reinvest with 3-4 players. It is important that we all remember we are Crystal Palace and that we know our level, no matter how frustrating it is to see our best players leave. It's over to Parish to get another great deal and the money MUST be invested in the team or we are surely in the bottom 6 and in for a long hard season without any creativity or goals (again).

If he refuses to play, can we then pay him statutory sick pay? £130k a week to £95 a week. Sue for not honouring the contract

Are you sh*tting me? We sold an inexperienced fullback for £45m and you think we should sell our most important player for only 10m more? Bloody hell. After Man Utd's cut we'd be left with about 40m. And you think we'd get 3-4 players with that? Christ almighty.
