Indeed "Moves on" to a "United States of Europe".

As for shaping it, some 50 - 60% of our laws and 70% of regulations are dictated to us by a EU that has a hunger and desire to impose increasingly statist regulations on 28 diverse nations.

At the end of the day, the EU is institutionally incapable of reform. The EU is ruled by a secretive, unelected commission whose diktats are backed by a court able to override elected democracies.

VOTE LEAVE

All about the impact, Willo. Only those laws/regulations which have a negative one need to be scrutinised further. A very small percentage i'll wager.

I do kinda admire your rebellion against the PM and the majority of The Conservative Party though. Very Derek Hatton

Not sure if the bookies are doing their own exit polls but remain is 2/9 now.

I don't think they will win by that much to justify those odds.

52% stay and 48% leave prediction.

sorry, I thought your first point was rhetorical. A vote for remain is not a vote for the status quo. There is no such thing as the status quo in the modern world. It is a vote for which path we should follow - the one with our allies and friends, where we can help each other, if needed, or the path into the unknown, on our own.

I don't accept this.
We do know that as the world's 5th largest economy we will be able to strike up deals with countries eager to sell to our affluent consumers.
We do know that Germans will still hunger to sell us their cars and the world will want our unique skills of the City of London.
ETC ETC ETC.... I could go on and on and on.
A vote to LEAVE would enable us to fulfil our destiny as one of the world's greatest trading nations, free to do deals with any country we like and give us a seat on international bodies instead of being one voice in 28 represented by a bureaucrat without our interests at heart.

I believe in the sovereignty of our great nation,it's monarchy,it's judicial system and constitution.I don't want to be ruled by faceless bureaucrats.I am very concerned about uncontrolled immigration and I believe in Britain, it's culture, freedom and history. We are NOT some "Tinpot" nation which will be cut-adrift if we vote to LEAVE.

Our ancestors shed blood to uphold and defend this country's right to govern itself, raise taxes and pass it's own laws and to get rid of politicians when they betray our trust. We really do NOT want to belong to some dysfunctional institution that denies us these rights, an institution pursuing an insane policy of "Open Borders" which if not checked will lead to violence between factions across Europe, NOT forgetting the strain this places on affluent economies.

It's the "Known" about the EU that I totally abhor.Makes my blood boil and sends my "Blood Pressure" through the darned roof.

Anyway, I have to LEAVE it here ! Got a very busy day so no time to engage in any further debate.

Well, I'v just voted 'IN', mainly because my other half is from Central Europe and we have family living across Europe and I wouldn't want to make it harder for them or us to see each other or up sticks and live in another EU country one day.

If my relationship status was different I'd probably have voted the other way. Even if the result is 'OUT' I'll still be a bit excited by the prospect of the unknown over the next few years/decades.

I started off firmly in the remain camp but now I am just sick of the whole thing. I feel whichever I vote for I won't be particularly comfortable.

At least they know the correct way to hang it. A lot of us 'British' have no idea.

You and most other people I suspect. My head says remain, my heart says leave. Just because the leave lobby is populated by odious t***s doesnt mean that it is not the right thing to do. You can be repulsive and right in the same way that the remain lobby can be rational and wrong.

VOTE LEAVE

Its statements like these that make me think twice about voting leave. You seem to forget that body includes the UK, who also vote. I think there are something like 50-60 EU laws that the UK didn't vote for, out of something like 2500.

As for the Court, when I hear people talking about the ECHR like that, to me, it sounds like people who want to ensure that people only have rights when its convenient.

Well done, you've convinced me not to vote for leave.
