They did. And a 2nd referendum will prove it. So if remain win a second referendum why would we not claim that you didn’t know what you were voting for? For example, a European army of greater powers transferred to Brussels? Seems a lot more likely than project fear.

Perhaps even give up our veto to help speed along integration. Why should only leave have two options?

At them moment, it's only remain pursuing legal cases. However, as every political option to leave the EU is being blocked. I wouldn't be surprised if leave start mounting Court cases soon.

Semantics really but OK a fair point. Not that it actually makes any difference. Not semantics at all: Black's Law Dictionary defines unlawful as "not authorized by law, illegal." Illegal is defined as "forbidden by law, unlawful" Since there is nothing on the statute books about prorogation, or what may be considered an acceptable period of prorogation, it cannot possibly be illegal. Since what Boris has done has not broken any Law, and given that HM the Queen gave her assent to his actions, and HM the Queen being above the Law as she IS the Law, one actually wonders whether the Supreme Court's judgement in this matter is enforceable.

That does not make it morally right, and we have every reason to feel justifiable anger at how it has behaved but there are no legal challenges, as far as I can see, that could be bought. Parliament needs to either step aside and allow us to leave on the 31st as we scheduled to do or else revoke it or else submit itself to a general election. It will do none of those things for a variety of reasons but we sadly have no legal recourse against it for being a collection of no-good lying b******s. Need to be clear about that. But that is exactly why a second referendum achieves nothing. Rendered absolutely pointless if Remain is an option because the first one was not honoured. Utterly pointless exercise that achieves nothing. If the Remainers on here are so keen on Parliamentary democracy then let them back it revoking Article 50.

Thats a valid point. I accept that I was wrong in my desire to torch the place. But I am voicing a frustration that millions of others are feeling right now and what I feel that many of you Remainers are unable or unwilling to comprehend. Can you give me a single reason why I should not be highly f***ed off with all levels of our executive at the moment after the assurances it gave us that our vote on June 23rd would matter? And why I should place any faith in voting in any referendum, ever again? An equally valid point. We are in a mess. I stand by a straight no deal versus remain vote. At least it can be justified on the basis of a population standing firm or changing its mind. Labours new deal stitch up will just drag us through more st1t for years. And the lib dems revoke art 50 will poison democracy UNLESS (some hope) they win a GE majority. Remain should not be on the ballot box I understand but it offers no answer where parliament which is supreme is predominantly remain.
